Happy Birthday Matthew!

Its late and almost over but I didn't want the day to go by without dedicating a post to my sweet baby boy. In two years I have learned so much about being the mommy of a boy. It has been such a wonderful experience and I thank the Lord Jesus for every moment! I pray he give me many more birthdays with this sweet baby boy. I pray the Lord use him in a mighty way one day for his glory.

Its my Anniversary!

Happy 9 year anniversary to Bobby and I! In these 9 years both of us have been saved by the grace of God!!! amen! lived in 2 homes had 4 children, several jobs and more vehicles that one person shall own in a lifetime, lol! lots of laughs, lots of pain, lots of tears, I mean come on we have 4 children you know there are lots of tears! lots of pregnancies, lol! lots of disagreements, lots of fun, lots of sickness and did I mention lots of diapers, lots of dishes and laundry, lots of hugs , lots of first words and first steps, lots of special times and lots and lots of memories, now thats a lot of lots!!! I pray the Lord give us so many more lots and I am so thankful for the ones we have already experienced. How great is our God!! To meet my husband in high school and grow up with him, enjoy so many things life has to offer and share them with someone so special, I am a very blessed! So how are we spending this special day? Well our first anniversary was a big out to dinner and a day spent together but today is taking baby Ian to the dr, who has a viral infection that has broke him out from head to toe, chasing kids, yes Bobby is at work now, cleaning and yes I havent touched my makeup or even brushed my hair today, lol! Sounds rough huh? Well I am sure that my children could care less about my makeup and hair, they just love that I am dancing to sing along with barbie with them, and as for taking care of sick Ian, watching this sweet baby fall asleep in my arms is most definitively not a chore at all. Hopefully Bobby will get off work early tonight and we have a date of playing the wii, without children, lol, and eating some wendys chili in our pajamas. Now that sounds great to me! Well I am so thankful for my blessings, I pray that the Lord will let us grow old together! Happy Anniversary to my sweet Husband, I love you!

Well I am a blogging slacker. So much has been going on there is not much free time left for my hobbies. I am totally not complaining though, my new free time is spent holding this little cutie.

And with all that cuteness who could resist!
We sure can't!!

Then the rest of my time is spent..

Teaching a first grader..

Cleaning up after one messy little boy!

and pre-schooling one very spunky little girl :)!

And most of the rest of the time left is attempting to keep a clean home. I mean do you know how much laundry 6 people can create! Its insane! I do have a awesome little helper though :)

Natalie and Matthew are a work in progress, lol!

But what can I say I am so blessed!
All my little cuties first thing in the morning, lol!

Till next time...

Sorry I have been MIA for a while. I have had lots of appointments, and sick babies and non stop chaos for the past week. Anyways while I have a few seconds here are a few quick swaps that you can change at not much more cost and not much change in taste and you get healthier foods.

Ketchup- hunts all natural, no diffence in price or taste.

Jelly- Wealch's all natural jelly, grape is cheaper but I love strawberry. Not much diffence in price, but much different ingredients, I like it better than the others.

Tea- We drink decaf tea instead of sodas, much healthier and cheaper than loading up on all the soda. And tea is really good for you.

Ice cream- Bryers, I know it can be expensive, but you can find it on BOGO at food lion pretty often. It is worth the extra money if you compare the ingredients.

Coffee creamer- Make your own, much healthier. It is unreal what is in your coffee creamer and you can google it and find so many easy recipes, I like milk but Bobby is a big coffee creamer fan.

Cookies- Make your own. I use the recipe on the back of the hershey chocolate chips and it is so awesome and makes lots of them. Walmart has chips for 1.88 a bag right now and make sure you use real butter :) I dont buy any premade cookies or snacks at all, so if you cut that out of the budget, this is more affordable. I usually make the dough up while the kids are sleeping and I have the convience of baking them through the week. I am a baker so most the time this stuff is laying around anyways.

Peanut butter- just incase you didn't read the other post the jif all natural is made with palm oil instead of hydrognated oils and is at no change in cost or taste.

chips- always get lays chips, no preservatives and fried in sunflower or canola oil.

olive oil- always use when you can. Canola is a little cheaper and it also works good in brownie recipes.

Biscuits- make your own. It is so easy, I make Bobby some almost every morning. What about the shortning? use real butter instead, and make sure it is cold, also white lily flour makes all the difference in the world, you need a flour with less protein to make a softer biscuit.

I have lots more but my children are demanding my attention so I must go, sorry if the spelling is bad or if this is scattered but being a mommy of three computer time is limited. Hope this helps. Have a great day everyone!
